Health Screening
A hormone is a substance released by one or more cells that affects cells in other parts of the organism. Only a small amount of hormone is required to alter cell metabolism. Excess or deficiency of hormones can cause a whole range of problems in the body. Therefore it is important to keep the hormones balanced.
Bio-resonance screening system can pick up imbalances within the hormones and endocrine glands. Once this is determined, appropriate natural remedial actions can then be taken.
The body needs correct nutrients in order to create hormones, for example, essential fats are precursors to hormones and molybdenum and zinc are essential for hormone production. That is why we always test vitamins and minerals alongside the hormones, because imbalances in these can mimic hormonal imbalances.
Bio-resonance system does not measure blood levels of homones or nutrients, instead it determines energetic imbalances.

Adrenal glands are small structures attached to the top of each kidney. When you think of the adrenal glands, stress might come to mind. And rightly so – the main purpose of your adrenals is to enable your body to deal with stress from every possible source. They largely determine the energy of your body's responses to every change in your internal and external environment.
In modern society, these responses are triggered by such circumstances as a difficult boss, air pollution, family quarrels, financial problems, too little sleep, infections and overindulgence in or sensitivities to food or substance abuse. If your adrenal function is low, as it is in adrenal fatigue, your body has difficulty responding and adapting properly to these stresses. This can lead to a variety of physical and psychological health problems that are themselves a further source of stress.
After mid-life, the adrenal glands gradually become the major source of the sex hormones circulating throughout the body in both men and women. These hormones themselves have a whole host of physical, emotional and psychological effects, from the level of your sex drive to the tendency to gain weight.
As you can see from this brief overview, your life depends a great deal on how well your adrenal glands function.

Pancreas is called the "hidden organ" because it is located deep in the abdomen behind the stomach. It produces digestive enzymes and the hormone insulin. The enzymes digest fat, protein and carbohydrates so they can be absorbed by the intestine. The insulin is important in regulating the amount of sugar in the blood. Consumption of refined sugar products over-stimulates the pancreas, causing over-production of insulin, converting too much glucose into glycogen, depressing the blood glucose level and producing a condition of insulin resistance. Your diet is highly important if you want to maintain health of the pancreas.

Thyroid
While generally not considered as one of the “Hormones Of Youth”, thyroid deficiency can increase risk of age-related disorders. Sub-optimal thyroid means sub-optimal metabolism, which translates into weight gain and its associated ills of heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. Low thyroid activity affects over 40% of people, particularly women in their middle years. Unfortunately, blood tests only pick up the more frank cases. The standard blood test criteria are low T4 and a high TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone). Because of this insensitivity, some doctors have dubbed sub-optimal thyroid as the “much mis-diagnosed malady”.
-----------------------
Many of our clients are sub-clinically low thyroid. This means that blood tests have shown that everything is normal but they are in fact feeling extremely tired with weight gain, dry skin and falling hair. Once this has been identified, we use herbs and nutritional supplements to bring the body back into balance that can generally take from 6 weeks to 6 months. We also find that clients can have sub-clinical blood sugar imbalances, making them tired and irritable. An imbalance in the adrenal hormones can mean that clients no longer cope with stress and can regularly come down with illness.

Oestrogen-progesterone imbalance is responsible for many health issues. Too much oestrogen in relation to progesterone is called oestrogen dominance, and is becoming an increasingly common problem.
Oestrogen is produced in the body predominantly in the ovaries; however, the liver, adrenals, breasts and fat cells manufacture small amounts. This hormone influences the development and maintenance of secondary female sex characteristics, regulates menstruation, maintains pregnancy and is involved in many other bodily actions of both sexes, including clotting potential of the blood, bone strength, blood vessel maintenance, metabolic rate, bowel motility, muscle mass, fat storage and fluid balance in the body. In men, oestrogen is involved in sperm maturation and libido.
Progesterone is the major balancing hormone for oestrogen. Prolactin is also a player. When these hormones are balanced, females feel sexy and vital. When they are out of whack, we feel well below optimal and may develop all sorts of disorders.
